OBIE TRICE UPCOMING ALBUM & VIEW ON INDUSTRY

Over the decades many artist recreate themselves from album to album, and even most times from singles to singles. In the past decade many heavy hitters have gone solo furthermore independant from the industry stigma creating their own labels. Rapper Obie Trice is no different creating his own path just like his music it’s beyond powerful, and the fans have really responded to his newest work! Obie Trice is known for taking the lyrical road to express emotion, circumstance and even intention to capture his audience, and vast growing fan base! His recent release “Bottoms Up” had the fans buzzing over his return to music, and collaborations that reminded many of real rap! His single off the album “Spill My Drink” has been a fans dream from the lyrical explosion of motivation beyond his personal felt conversation on the track. The music video even had it’s very personal edge that many flocked to and are generating towards constantly. Then taking it further he teamed up with rapper Eminem for “Richard” this track is a must hear according to the fans, saying “It’s the very regrouping of lyrical originality from both artist, we’ve longed to hear from again!”  However my timeline blew up with “Battle Cry” featuring Adrian Rezza as one of the greatest tracks on the album many proclaimed. Then “Dear Lord” , “I Pretend” and “Going Nowhere” also resonated with the fans that long awaited the album! Even “BME Up” has a great out pour of fans backing this track up as well, and with Obie Trice working on his next album “The Hangover” he’s decided to give fans a taste of what’s coming for them “No Disrespect” is the title of the leaked track by Obie Trice on his birthday (November 14th). After speaking with Obie Trice he’s expressed his intention for great music, and touring which he’ll be doing soon in Australia, but hes limiting himself from the states even willing to take on a 50 state tour! However he deeply expressed it’s all in the works within the music! He’s even opened up about his independent move toward his label and success of where he plans to see it headed and beyond! DEEPER LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION WITH LLuvi Johnson

Geneva: Thanks you for your time, I know your extremely busy schedule. But how are doing today?

LLuvi Johnson: Hello Geveva, I’m well & excited to speak with you!

Geneva: Now first off before we get into the heart of this interview. I want to clear up some things; you're not in the music industry correct?

LLuvi Johnson: Not any longer, I’m currently on the Media Side of the business, Production, Staffing & Casting for Music videos and actually I’m focusing more on my current position at OpenVision Networks as VP of operations and a Network Owner.

Geneva: However you’re no stranger to this business, in many rights you’re an empire of a self-made woman. How do you keep out of the hype or drama of this business? 

LLuvi Johnson: I stay in my role as “Auntie”!  People just want to feel like someone believes in them, So I try to be the shoulder to lean on & not judge.   Plus I do my job and go home, I don’t hang out at clubs or go to industry parties unless it’s business…

Geneva: Now for those unfamiliar with "OPENVISION NETWORK" which is the revolution to entertainment, can you explain more about it in details?

LLuvi Johnson: Open Vision is the NEWEST form of broadcast technology.  We are an International Multichannel TV Distributor; with technology that supersedes Linear Television, Cable, Hulu Plus, Zeebox and all others combined.   Picture it this way, traditional cable connects thou Digital boxes and cable wires, satellite tv, thru satellite dishes & OpenVision connects thou cyber space on any   WiFi/Broadband device, Smart Phones, Computers, tablets, smart TV’s.  Once connected, you are in cyberspace, with multiple channels NOT video clips.  What’s so special about our cable, 1: we are available in every country in the world and we are completely free with no equipment to buy!

Geneva: Plus it's very social active, and launching consumers to the networks, fundraisers, and even ads are now at the fingertips literally.  However you’re constantly connected to your viewer numbers as well right?  

LLuvi Johnson: Yes with our Technology, we have point to purchase advertising, without interruption of the commercial or show.  Ex: Let’s say you’re watching T.I & Tiny and they have a scene with T.I. in the studio…you can click the show logo on the screen and purchase the song in the background, without interruption of the program!  We have certainly superseded any cable, internet or linear TV competition!

Geneva: You are truly the media queen of revelation, can you tell us a little about your team and the different shows among networks featured on "OpenVision" Networks?

LLuvi Johnson: Well you are getting an exclusive because we have not gone public yet and can’t announce any of the Networks right now! The only Network I can speak about at this time is Soulja Boy TV since he has already went public with his purchase…Soulja boy being a technology geek, appreciated the Value of this new technology and wanted to be the first of the Music world to jump on board. So look out for Soulja Boy TV real soon.

Geneva: Now this is normally where I'll ask for advice, what’s the biggest mistake made for upcoming business people? 

LLuvi Johnson: Not knowing your target Market and Giving up to soon. They say it takes at least 5 yrs for any business to become completely profitable! 

Geneva: What changes have you seen personally or overall in media, that's been for the better? 

LLuvi Johnson: Although I’m not in Music now, that is my background and I’m fairly new to what I’m doing in Media, so I’m not sure if I can answer that objectively!

Geneva: You've accomplished so much in your career; my question is what's next for you & "OPENVISION" NETWORK?

LLuvi Johnson: Well, being an entrepreneur you know my hands are in a lot of things! Let’s talk about two that are in motion.  Latasha Marrow and myself are working on a new Hair Weave Line called “RocKandy” that I’m super excited about!  We have Quick Weave Kits with special tricks!  Fantasy Hair and transformer Hair Pieces!! Then I’m working on manufacturing an exercise piece of equipment called “Firm Pro” that is WONDERFUL!!

As far as Open Vision, that is simple…we plan to change the face of television as you know it!  

Geneva: Your known for your motivation and great advice, being a woman in the business what's the most Impactful advice you can give to other women? 

LLuvi Johnson: Never give up and stay true to yourself and your values most importantly! 

Geneva: Those who haven't heard yet TEN11 is the ultimate one stop shop for talent. Can you tell us a little  more about TEN11?

LLuvi Johnson: Well we are not a talent agency; My Company is TEN11 Creative, under this umbrella I consultant and build strategies for various types of companies, not just music.  Also, I do Media Staffing & Casting, Providing staffing support services to all Media situations, Commercials, Music Videos, and TV & Movies.  We are like a temporary agency for media industry, if a boom operator gets sick on set call me and I’ll send a new one!

Geneva: Thanks again, I'm always humbled by you and now even more so a fan of your wisdom and work. Is there anything you'd like to add before we go?

LLuvi Johnson: Thank you Geneva, I’m so sorry it took so long for us to connect. I’d like you speak to the young people trying to be in the Music business.  Social Networks can be your Platform or your Downfall!  You have to remember the industry is more business than music... If there is NO BUSINESS your MUSIC is just a hobby. Geneva: Greetings how are you today, we finally have the chance to do this interview! How is DJ Queen of Spades doing?

DJ Queen of Spades: 

Yes, finally....lol 

I am great! Things are amazing and I am happy for this opportunity.

Geneva: You have been such the busy lady, can you just break it down for us what the fans can look forward to?

DJ Queen of Spades: 

Wow! Where do I start? LOL 

I am excited to announce that I am one of the newest members of the Famous Monster DJ Team. If you are not familiar, Monster Cable is the company that makes Beats By Dre headphones and products, so this is a huge deal for me.  We have a lot of projects in the works, so make sure to look out for them.  I have also recently joined an internet radio site www.globalcityradio.com based out of the UK. My signature radio show "The Royal Treatment" broadcast's every night from 12-1am EST I am very happy to announce as well that I a mixer on Tulsa's #1 Hip Hop and R'n'B station KJAMZ 105.3. I'll be doing the Old School Cafe Mix every Monday from 1-2pm EST I'm also working on new mixes for my mixtape series "All Hail The Queen" and podcast. I am also doing new projects with my DJ Organizations; The Core DJs & IMS DJs.

Geneva: Now for those who may not know what their missing in the female DJ game. Can you tell us what separates you from most female DJ's?

DJ Queen:

I think my versatility it makes me unique.  When I first started DJ'ing, I mainly spun hip hop and r'n'b.  After awhile, I realized that to be more of an asset, you need to master different genres.  I have always been around a wide range of music, so I am quite knowledgeable.  Therefore, it was very easy to transition into other types of music.  This sets me aside from many other DJs, because now I can rock parties by myself and play everything.  I also think I have a unique style that makes me stand out.  I pride myself on being a trendsetter and doing things a little different than other females. I respect all my female DJs though and that we are now becoming more noticeable and respected for what we are doing. 

G: Can you tell me what is the biggest hurdle for females in the djing game and what has been your biggest accomplishment? 

DJ Queen:

I think being a DJ has its hurdles period. There are the ups and downs of this industry. The biggest hurdle being a female DJ is sometimes you are found trying to "prove" yourself and that you have just as much, if not more talent to stand up to the male DJ's.  Basically, I just go to the party, get on the 1's and 2's and show them what I’m about. Let my talent speak for itself. 

I've been blessed to have accomplished many things up to this point in my career. One of the biggest ones has to be being nominated for Female DJ of The Year since 2007 at an annual DJ Awards Ceremony held in Toronto. This shows that I am being recognized and shown love for my contributions as a DJ.

 G: When it comes to being a female DJ what is the biggest misunderstanding ?

DJ Queen:

That we are "gimmicks" I cannot tell you how many people have said this to be before. "Oh you can't DJ, you're just a pretty face" Well I agree with the pretty face part...lol However, it's the misconception that a lot of female DJs are just out for "show" that sadly become a fall back for us. And, I understand. When you see a lot of female DJs these days, they are wearing bikinis and a pair of headphones. lol Even I have to shake my head sometimes. Yes, its ok to be sexy, but don't let it over shadow your skills. 

G: Now their are a lot of artists out there, so many new tracks and hot singles among albums out who are you mixing in the clubs or featuring in your events?

DJ Queen:

Oh wow, right now what I play to get the crowd rockin' is definitely; Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Drake, Meek Mill. A lot of the down south tracks right now are really what gets the crowd hype! 

G: Now being a DJ of many talents can you please tell us what else is in your bag of expertise and skills besides djing?

DJ Queen:

I have dabbled in a lot of things while I've been in the industry the last 17 years. I have done Marketing and Promotions, which I still continue to do. I have planned and thrown my own signature events. I have also worked with a couple of record labels in the past.  I have done management for an old dance crew I used to be apart of.  So, I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge working on both sides of the fence. 

G: Furthermore being in a male dominated industry what has been your personal motto or theme for inspiration to stay motivated?

DJ Queen:

Just stay focused! Don't get discouraged when something may not work out in your favor and just keep working hard. Keep motivated and dedicated, it never goes unrecognized. 

G: What has been your "Awww" moment, that moment when you realized you've made it in this business?

DJ Queen:

Hmmmmm..... There have been a few of these moments so far, but the one that really stands out and means a lot, is when DJ Scratch ( EPMD ) told me I was an amazing DJ. This is someone who I have looked up to for so many years and I think he is one of the best DJs I have ever heard. So, for him to hear me DJ and tell ME that I am a great DJ was definitely one of those "awww" moments!

G: Now I have seen your style what inspires your fashion?

DJ Queen:

Honestly, I am not really inspired by anyone or anything specific when it comes to my style. I just wear what feels good and makes me look hot! lol 

I can go from wearing a pair of jeans and sneakers to a mini-skirt and heels. It really just depends on my mood and what's going on. One thing, I will always keep it stylish though. :) 

G: Now if I said "All hail the Queen" what is your definition of a true queen in today's times?

DJ Queen:

A strong, smart, independent woman who can hold her own and is out there doing something positive. You can have a "hustle", but as long as you are keeping it classy and you are respecting yourself at the end of the day.... you are a true queen! 

G: Now for those who think that female dj's don't fit in the game, what would you say to them?

DJ Queen:

Let me get on the 1's and 2's and let me rock and I'll show them....lol  Honestly, its sad that being a DJ has been labeled as a "male" occupation.  Spinderella, is one of the dopest DJs out there and she has been rockin' since the 80's! There just isn't enough of us in comparison to the men, but that is quickly changing.  I'll always say this, "If you love music, have a real passion for this and are dedicated and can actually DJ, it doesn't matter what race or gender you are!" 

G:What would be your greatest piece of advice you would give to a young women looking to enter into the dominating world of entertainment?

DJ Queen:

Do not let the stereotyping discourage anything you do! If you have enough talent, love, passion, dedication, and determination, you will succeed no matter what. Put your heart and mind into it and do the do! And, brand yourself accordingly. Branding, is probably one of the most important things you will have to do. And, of course network. 

G: What does "Girl Power" mean to you?

DJ Queen:

UNITY!! We can't even think about using the term "Girl Power" if we don't all come together and help one another.  I am the biggest supporter of my other female DJ peers. We all have the same obstacles, we all have the same stereotypes and for the most part, we are all doing this for the love of DJ'ing. I am always there to lend a helping hand and give my support and advice. 

G: Who is DJ Queen of Spades at the end of the day?

DJ Queen:

I'm just a funny, loving, down to earth, humble person who loves music and decided to make a career from that love! I can't ever see myself changing. If you look in the middle of the dance floor at a party, chances are I'll be there like I've always been.....lol

Geneva: Greetings Mr. Brandon Wade for agreeing to this interview, I know you have a busy schedule.  How are you doing today by the way? 

Brandon Wade: I am doing very well.  I just celebrated my 41^st birthday last week and I have never felt better. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me.

Geneva: Now let's just jump right in here you are the CEO and Founder of Whatsyourprice.com. What many might wonder what inspired this site and the deep insight you provide?

Brandon Wade:  The inspiration for creating WhatsYourPrice.com came from my lifelong struggle to find love.  I am shy, and meeting girls in public places or social settings wasn’t easy.  In the past, I have used matchmaking services, online dating websites and even speed dating with limited success.  What I discovered about the courtship process is without the right incentive, most people will never have a chance at falling in love with each other because they are blinded by their negative first impressions, which prevents them from giving each other a chance.  WhatsYourPrice.com provides a way around this “first impression” impasse. 

The idea of bidding for a first date has already been done at charity events.  By allowing people the ability to negotiate on what it takes to have a first date, WhatsYourPrice.com provides the incentive for people to overlook negative first impressions of a profile by giving themselves and the other person a chance to get to know each other at a deeper level.  What the website is selling, therefore, is the chance at falling in love.

Geneva: When it comes to men what is the greatest misunderstanding us women have, and what do men really want from us women?

Brandon Wade:  The biggest misconception women have about men is that they believe men think like women.  Men are wired differently than women.  When we look at history, men were hunters while women were gatherers.  As such, men do not show affection the same way women do.   Most men are just not as good at sharing our feelings, listening, or showing our affections with hugs or small gifts.  However, that does not mean we do not care.  It’s important for a woman to be patient and understanding and to sit down with us once in a while to remind us of how we should behave around you.

Geneva: It has been debated for years that men have a one track mind, but according to your research that's not true.  When it comes to sex what is a key factor for men now that wasn't originally ? 

Brandon Wade: In reality, men have a multi-track mind and can be full of contradictions.  It’s true that men constantly think of sex (which explains stereotypes such as “All men are pigs” or “Men have a one track mind”), but men also have a deep desire for love and intimacy.  Our study shows that men value love more than sex.  This explains why so many men eventually shed their bachelorhood in favor of marriage.

However, it is important to note that a man’s body continually rages with testosterone.  A man’s desire for sex and his natural urges to mate are constant even after he finds love.  Women should appreciate the fact that the temptation and seduction of sex is a constant battle most men fight with every day.  For this reason, credit should be given where credit is due. While the media has focused on stories of men who cheat, it is important to note that the majority of men in married or monogamous relationship remain faithful.  The fact that over 70-75% of men are able to remain faithful demonstrates the power of love over sex.

I do not think there is a new key factor now that wasn’t there originally.  Our research merely shows that while sex is important for men, it just happens they value love even more. 

Geneva: The debate is clear men and women love differently, but most women want to know why does it take longer for a man to admit he's genuinely in love? 

Brandon Wade: There are two reasons why it takes longer for a man to admit he is in love.  First, a man’s sense of self-control often prevents him from being forthright about his emotions.  The same reason that men cry a lot less than women do is also the reason it takes a man longer to admit he is in love.  Secondly, most men in today’s society equate commitment to a loss of freedom.  For this reason, most men will not profess their love for another unless they are absolutely sure she is the one.

Geneva: When it comes to dating what is the biggest mistake women often make with men? 

Brandon Wade: The biggest mistake women often make with men is exuding a lack of self-worth.  There is a Chinese saying that men only value the things they work hard to achieve.   I’m not advocating that women should play “hard to get” games with the men they really like, but if you really like a man, be sure (1) not to have sex with him too soon (i.e., don't have sex on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd date), (2) don’t get overly attached or clingy, and (3) take your time to develop a genuine friendship first.

Geneva: Back to your website Whatsyourprice.com what can viewers expect from this site that's genuinely different from any other site, magazine or overall source out there? 

Brandon Wade: On other dating venues, you create a profile and reach out to hundreds if not thousands of people in hope that your profile will stand out enough for them to give you a chance. The chance of meeting someone you like is much like a crap shot.  WhatsYourPrice.com is different because it is truly the only website where you don’t have to leave it to chance.  You can actually buy a chance at love.  

Geneva: I have to ask the name of the site where did it come from?

Brandon Wade: The name came from a game I used to play with my friends as a teenager.  We would often ask each other “what’s your price” for doing something crazy, for instance, eating a bug, or playing a prank on the teacher.  I decided to use “What’s Your Price” as the name of the website after our market research found that the name not only gave the clearest meaning of how the site was different to our survey panel, but also caught the most attention - which is needed in the highly competitive online dating industry where everyone is vying for media coverage.

Geneva: What are your top five tips for women when it comes to men in relationships, sex or love?

Brandon Wade:

1.       Be confident – Studies have found that when you keep your eyes steady and show that you are calm and intent, guys are more likely to be interested in you.  Never be afraid to set your sights and standards high.

2.       Be yourself – Be comfortable with your feelings and who you are, and express them freely and with tact; don't hide who you are in order to get a guy to like you.  That never works out well.

3.      Set clear goals – Successful people set clear goals and objectives.  This should be done not only in your professional life, but also in your personal life.  Ask yourself what you want in an ideal relationship or man. Then create a plan on how to find him.  If you don’t want to beat around the bush, be sure to communicate your objectives or expectations up front.

4.      Remember to have fun dating – Finding the perfect relationship or soul mate takes time, so make sure you are having fun while you are searching for him.  When you are happy it shows, and that will make you even more attractive to the opposite sex.

5.      Know when it’s time to move on – There will always be bad apples, and there will always be men who have not yet grown up.  When you meet a man who is abusive or disrespectful, understand that you can do much better. Have the confidence and self-respect to stand up for yourself by cutting your losses and walking away.

Geneva: What are you ultimately  striving to achieve with this site?

Brandon Wade: I often meet people who are discouraged they will never find love.  Some (like me) complain they are too shy to make the first move, while others claim they will never stand a chance with someone they perceive as out of their league.

It is important to note the reasons people say no to a first date.  To give someone a chance takes time, money and effort.  For a woman, giving someone a chance may mean having to take time off work and spending money on hair, makeup, an outfit and transportation.  By creating a marketplace where first dates may be negotiated through price, our market research shows if people are given the right amount of incentive to offset the effort or risk they have to take, they will be willing to give someone that initial chance.

Geneva: Ross Bagley thanks so much for taking the time out for this interview, first off how are you doing today?

Ross Bagley: No problem, the pleasure’s all mine. I’m doing well though, no complaints, How about your self?

Geneva: I’m fantastic thank you. Now we all know and fell in love with your charm off "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". Where you played Nicholas "Nicky" Banks can you tell us what that experience did for your life and career?

Ross Bagley: It was a huge blessing, Fresh Prince was, and still is one of my favorite shows as a child, even way before I was on it. I remember when it used to come on Monday Nights and I would watch it with my babysitter when I was a little tyke so to be on it was surreal to say the least.

Geneva: Mr. Bagley you have mastered both television and the silver screen, in your opinion, which do you, prefer and where can we see you next?

Ross Bagley: To be completely honest I don’t have a preference. Each has its own perks, while television is really cool because of the steadiness of work, and gratification of a finished product every week, film also has its benefits like the possibility of being apart of something huge, that will most likely be seen in international markets.  Currently I’m attending college at California State University Northridge and plan to get my Cinema and Television Arts degree in the spring. I hope to produce films and television after that, but don’t be surprised if you see me creep across your TV screens in the meantime.

Geneva: You have worked with some amazing actors among actresses in your childhood acting years, from Will Smith in both "The Fresh prince of Bel-Air" and "Independence Day" with Vivica A. Fox. "Eye for an Eye" starring Sally Fields, Ed Harris, Beverly D' Angelo to name a couple. Looking back were you nervous at all with any of your major roles with these actors?

Ross Bagley: No, not really nervous. My mom was always in my corner and seeing her in the background really helped to make me feel comfortable and confident when doing my scenes. Plus I was a little guy so I didn’t know much better.

Geneva: However you took a break from acting, and even attend college. What has your life been like away from the limelight?

Ross Bagley: It’s been great! I can’t complain at all. Luckily I don’t validate myself by the amount of attention I get so I can’t say that there’s any void or empty space in my life since I haven’t been on television. I’ve got a wonderful girlfriend of a few years who holds me down and a team of family and friends who support me like none other so I’m in a great place right now.

Geneva: Many childhood stars are often followed by their child star roles. Do people still look at you as little "Nicky" from "The Fresh prince of Bel-Air" or "Buckwheat" from "The little Rascals" and if so what are your feelings on that?

Ross Bagley: Like you wouldn’t ever imagine. I’ve been teased endlessly about Buckwheat, not so much Fresh Prince. But I take it in stride because most of the people who might have something to say are actually fans of my work so it’s actually a compliment. Plus I have a pretty smart mouth so I can tag them back pretty easily if it gets too crazy.

Geneva: Now being all grown up what roles are you looking to playing now that you’re back in the acting world?

Ross Bagley: I’d love to be apart of a comedic ensemble. That is always a lot of fun, and the environment on set is way more laid back and lighthearted. Which always makes me feel extremely comfortable!

Geneva: At a young age you have already worked with so many great talents in Hollywood. Who are you looking forward to working with now not just actors but maybe directors, writers, even comics?

Ross Bagley: I’d love to work with Zach Gallifinakis and Todd Phillips. I’m a huge fan of Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, and Mike Epps. On the dramatic side I’d like to work with Spike Lee, John Singleton or even Quentin Tarantino, and how could I forget Denzel because who doesn’t want to work with Denzel.

Geneva: True very we all love Denzel Washington. Being all grown up has your view on acting changed, and if so in what way? 

Ross Bagley: I have a far greater appreciation for it now. It truly is an art form. It is more about the subtleties of ones expressions and inflections. There has to be a great balance of energy to make a good actor/actress, one step too over the top or one step shy of the energy needed can be the difference between a good actor and a bad one.

Geneva: However, now approaching the limelight, fame and the projects to come how is Ross Bagley preparing himself?

Ross Bagley: The only way I can truly prepare is by remembering to maintain the core values and principles that my family has instilled in me thus far. I made a promise to myself a long time ago to never change my personality regardless of successes or lack there of. My heavenly father has gotten me this far and I have no reason to expect him to stop now.
