Two time Emmy Winner Cady McClain Returns to "All My Children" in Final Months
Reprises Role of Dixie Martin
(Los Angeles) - Cady McClain returns this summer to ABC's Emmy® Award-winning daytime drama, "All My Children." The film, television and stage actress reprises her role of Dixie Martin, as the legendary soap brings its story line to an end and goes off air in September of this year.

There are no confirmed facts, only speculation, about how Ms. McClain's return will be handled. Her character Dixie has returned several times in ghost form, after meeting her demise at the hands of a serial killer in 2007. 
McClain stated, ""Very happy to be a part of this historical serial drama during its final curtain call. Think you will be happy with this story. Can't say anything but that it's a classic!"
ABOUT CADY MCCLAIN:In addition to her significant accomplishments as an artist, author and musician, Cady is a two time Emmy winning actress.  She is best known for her roles on All My Children and As the World Turns (which earned her both of her Emmy nods). Her most recent film work includes: “Soldier’s Heart,” winner of Best Narrative Feature (GI Film Festival), “Home Movie,” a psychological thriller released through IFC and the festival award winning film “Alma Mater.” Filethirteen described her performance in “Alma Mater” as “simply awesome,” andInside Out Toronto said the film was “superbly acted.” Cady is also known for her work in “Law and Order SVU,”Cheers” and “St. Elsewhere.” Off-Broadway credits include David Ives' “The Red Address” at Second Stage. 
ABOUT ALL MY CHILDREN
"All My Children" celebrated its 41st anniversary on January 5th, 2011. The program successfully maintained its popularity and has been one of daytime's most compelling dramas. "All My Children" took home the 1998 Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, the third time the show received this top honor, having also garnered the award in 1994 and 1992. In 2004 the show also received its third consecutive Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series Writing, its third Writers Guild Award and its fourth GLAAD Media Award in March 2007. Created by Agnes Nixon, "All My Children" premiered on the ABC Television Network on January 5, 1970, as a half-hour show; seven years later it expanded to an hour.
