Band from Los Angeles called MXMS

It's that time of year where we start to wind down and simultaneously look forward -
One of the artists for 2017 I'm looking forward to is a band from Los Angeles called MXMS....
Fronted by the ever lovely, Ariel Levitan.

They've just started making some waves on those now all important Spotify Playlists (ElectroNOW, indietronic, Young & Free, etc...) with a song called simply "LIKE A SONG" - a collaboration with DJ Tommie Sunshine.
Link to song here

And, today the super cool girls' newsletter, CLOVER, shared a song called RX, written about Ariel and her battles with depression via prescription drugs.

MXMS will be releasing their full length debut in the new year. You can also expect to see, at least Ariel, on the runway at some upcoming Fashion shows this February in NYC.

Enjoy!

Mike WiLL Launches "Mike WiLL's Wish Week" In Atlanta December 19th Through December 28th

Week-Long Series Of Events Will Benefit Families From All Over Atlanta

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Multi-platinum-selling producer Mike WiLL Made-It announces the launch of Mike WiLL's "Wish Week" in Atlanta on December 19th. The week-long series of events will benefit young people, seniors, and their families from all over the Atlanta area.

The event is the outgrowth of WiLL's Making Wishes Matter Foundation — a nonprofit organization that strives to make an impact in WiLL's community by empowering young people to discover their talents, assisting less fortunate families, and granting the wishes of individuals within the community.

Wish Week kicks off with the Radio One Christmas Angels Event on Monday, December 19th, in which kids supported by the non-profit Our House will receive gifts and treats. The week continues with Wish Fest on Tuesday, December 20th where kids, including foster and homeless youth, will join Mike WiLL and hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd (who are signed to WiLL's label Ear Drummer Records) for an evening of food, games, and gifts at the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games. A Mother's Wish Single Mom's Dinner will be held on Wednesday, December 21st, at Maggiano's Little Italy, and a Senior Holiday Party and Games Night will be held on Thursday, December 22nd. That event will include music from Radio One's old-school station and bingo with gift card prizes. All seniors will receive a gift from Mike WiLL at the conclusion of the event. And finally, Beats and Basketball Suite Night with Boys2Men will be held on December 28th. Twenty boys from the Boys2Men Home & Sanctuary for Youth will join Mike WiLL on the court for the National Anthem at the Atlanta Hawks vs. NY Knicks game. Each boy will receive a jersey and spend the night in the suite with Mike and his friends.
